Until you make the unconscious conscious,
it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

I am a counselling psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist offering in-person and online therapy to individuals and couples.

Alongside psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I also recognise that it can be helpful to explore things at a systemic level, which includes thinking about how problems in life can arise from family histories, places of origin, and other transpersonal concerns.

We all have a tendency to recreate experiences we’re already familiar with, even when these lead to pain and confusion. Many of these emotional experiences are established in our early relationships, with parents, caregivers, siblings, and grandparents. For this reason, I focus on building a relationship together and exploring what emerges.

Committed to providing patients with a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, my approach to psychotherapy focuses on developing your understanding of your inner world, whilst appreciating the reality of the external environment.
This process takes time and may not be the most effortless journey, but it offers a real opportunity to feel stronger within.

The core principle in my work ethic is that each person is unique in the way they experience life, ranging from the stresses of daily life to deep-rooted issues.

I am sensitive to working with early relational trauma, secondary trauma and complex trauma.
I have a special interest in exploring difficulties related to identity, intimacy (including emotional intimacy) and life transitions, as well as struggles with mood, depression, anxiety, attachment, poor body image, internalised shame, trauma, and eating disorders.

I am particularly experienced in working with people who have past/present struggles with:
